The East Texas A&M University football team kicked off its 2025 season on Monday with the Southland Conference Football Opening Drive.
For the second consecutive year, the Southland's football media day was a highlight at the Texas High School Coaches Association Coaching School and Convention, and the excitement was palpable! Representing the Lions were head coach Clint Dolezel, alongside standout linebacker Kyree Anderson from Cy-Lakes and dynamic wide receiver Christian Jourdain from New Orleans. During the two-day extravaganza, they mingled with coaches and players from nine other Southland teams, diving into informative sessions and innovative activities like a creative content car wash, featuring photoshoots and videos for the league. The morning buzz peaked with engaging media interactions, from discussions with national reporters to a lively press conference streamed for all to see. Keep an eye out for further updates on the Lions in 2025 and the development of the East Texas A&M Football program.
