LSU kicks off College World Series with victory over conference rival.

In a thrilling opening round of the Men's College World Series, we saw a rare matchup between SEC rivals LSU and Arkansas. The 6-seed Tigers wasted no time, jumping ahead with three runs in the top of the second, fueled by Chris Stanfield's clutch single and a hit-by-pitch that brought in another run. Arkansas rallied with a towering homerun from Reese Robinett in the sixth, but LSU's Derek Curiel added an insurance run in the eighth, sealing a 4-1 victory. Now, LSU’s set to face UCLA, while the Razorbacks must battle back against Murray State facing elimination. What a way to kick off the tournament!
