Written by Eric Martinez - Allen delivered an impressive performance against Southlake Carroll, securing a significant win in the clash of Texas high school football's respected programs, 56 to 35.  From the start, Allen displayed confidence and intensity, dominating both offense and defense. They advanced the football effectively while forcing Southlake Carroll to earn every yard. Their physical play and execution built momentum throughout the game.  The offense capitalized on key drives, keeping pressure on the Southlake Carroll defense, whether on the ground or through the air.

Defensively, Allen made crucial stops, making it difficult for Southlake Carroll to score and maintaining control of the game during critical moments. Despite Southlake Carroll's determination to challenge them, Allen's consistency and ability to make plays at key times led to their decisive victory over a strong team. This win not only boosts Allen’s momentum but also enhances the rivalry between these powerhouse programs.  For Allen, Jrue Simmons was another major difference-maker for the Eagles. The running back rushed for more than 100 yards and scored two touchdowns, consistently giving Allen a strong presence on the ground. Zach Williams provided one of the game's biggest highlights with his late-second-quarter touchdown reception from Snell. The 40-yard Hail Mary completely shifted the momentum heading into halftime.
